They require a staging environment, full testing on the checkout flow, modules and theme, which far exceeds the monthly dev time included. What is included in maintenance: critical security hotfixes (published PrestaShop CVEs), fixes on vulnerable modules, and incident response. For a major update, we issue a quote with a timeline and staging tests.
