PergolaSwiss is an online shop specialising in the sale of bioclimatic pergolas on the Swiss market. The project was built entirely from scratch: a fully custom theme developed from the mockup, powered by PrettyBlocks on PrestaShop 8.2. The shop showcases premium "designed in Switzerland" products, with a clear purchase journey, strong trust signals (4.8/5 across more than 1,400 customer reviews) and instalment payment.
The goal: present a technical range (models, dimensions, options, accessories) in a clear, reassuring way, and guide the customer all the way to checkout on a high-value product.
My role
- Design of a fully custom theme, integrated faithfully from the mockup and built with PrettyBlocks: a modular layout the client can freely edit from the back-office.
- Full setup and configuration of the shop on PrestaShop 8.2: catalogue, variations, order management and back-office.
- Integration of a pergola comparator to help customers choose the right model.
- Setup of instalment payment and payment facilities, suited to high-basket products.
- Integration of customer reviews and trust elements (customer service, eco-responsibility, delivery).
- Optimisation of organic SEO and performance (load times, optimised images).
- Mobile-first responsive shopping experience, from catalogue to checkout.
